MSc Data Science & Advanced Analytics | Machine Learning Lead | Researcher

I'm a passionate machine learning engineer and researcher with expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and AI automation. Currently leading ML initiatives at Ernst & Young Luxembourg, where I've automated in excess of €2M in costs annually through advanced AI solutions.

Current Role

I'm the Machine Learning Lead at Ernst & Young Luxembourg, where I lead a team of 20+ software engineers, data scientists, and data engineers. I fine-tune state-of-the-art models to automate tax and audit workflows end to end, saving tens of thousands of man-hours annually.

I'm also a Bioinformatics Researcher with the Patient Led Research Collaborative, working on a team funded by Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin to research Long Covid using machine learning. Our work involves the most comprehensive Long Covid patient dataset and uses Autoencoders, HDBSCAN, and Genetic Algorithms for patient clustering.

Background

I hold an MSc in Data Science and Advanced Analytics from Nova Information Management School, where my dissertation focused on "MobileNet V3-Attentive: Investigating Attention Mechanisms for Improved MobileNet V3 Performance."

Previously, I've worked as a Generative AI Researcher at Trinity College, fine-tuning Large Language Models and building multifaceted AI agents using Langchain, Pinecone, and custom React applications.

I enjoy reading and engaging in deep, intellectual conversations in my free time. My interests span literature, chess, podcasts, health and fitness, science and technology, and Premier League Football (COYS!).
